The sun3 series of Sun Microsystems servers and desktops are based on the Motorola 68020 CPUs with a custom MMU designed by Sun. Linux sun3 support requires a special userland as the custom MMU design limits the virtual memory address space to 28-bits and generic Linux m68k binaries won't work as they are linked to an address far above what 28-bits can provide.
TA-Linux support
An download.talinux.tal.org/pub/talinux/current-stable/sun3/experimental[/url] (and very old) Sun3 userland is available. It is based on the old-stable branch, but with an very old glibc 2.0.3 and gcc 2.95.3.
The developers have two Sun3/60 to work with. Donations of any other kind of Sun3 or Sun3x is welcome.
