TA-Linux is available as a free download over the Internet, with both ftp and http protocols. Use whatever suits you best. Downloads that are available:

There are CD images available for the latest release for any platform. Using a CD for installation is the prefered method and most architectures can boot directly from a CD (x86, alpha, ppc, sparc).

The whole TA-Linux distribution is also available as individual files. These can be used for network installation using boot and root disk for booting, and on architectures where it is possible (and supported) to netboot.

It is possible to install directly from a download site using ftp or http when installing but not recommended as the primary site is not on a very fast line.
